Creating and Managing Your Listing

(Q) How do I create my listing?

(A) The listing process is pretty straightforward. Once you sign up with us, you will be diverted to a page where you will be asked for the details about your property. If you have all the details ready, the process can be as quick as 10 minutes. If, however, you don't have all the details, you can enter in only the information that you have and you can always come back to it later when you are ready.

(Q) My property is located in one suburb, but I want to advertise it under different suburb. Can I do this?

(A) Strictly speaking, we are not allowed to advertise properties with incorrect addresses. Third party portals such as realestate.com.au and domain.com.au are very strict with their listing guidelines and they require true location to be advertised for all properties.

(Q) What size photos should I be uploading?

(A) Please ensure that photos are taken in landscape mode. We recommend that the photos are under 1mb. You'll need to resize the photos before uploading as our website will not do this, but we can help you with this if you're having trouble! Just send and email to support@noagentproperty.com.au

(Q) I am not sure how to write a good description. Can you help with that?

(A) Absolutely! When listing your property, a good copy goes a long way to convince the buyer to come and inspect your property; therefore a good copy is a must! Please note that long copy does not necessarily mean good copy! We understand that not everyone can write a beautiful copy. We can certainly give you guidance and help with your copy so just let us know! Because we won't be familiar with the property, we will need you to write some information, but we can help make it more appealing.

(Q) Once the property is listed, can I make adjustments?

(A) Definitely! This is one of the ways we give you full control over your advertising campaign. We provide you with all the tools required to quickly and easily make adjustments to your listing at any time - 24/7. Once you made your changes, just press "Submit" button and you are done! It takes some time to get these changes on all the websites because they each have their own update systems, but the process is automatic and shouldn't take longer than 3 hours.

(Q) I don't like using computers; can someone help me with the process?

(A) Yes, we can certainly help you out with the process. Just give us a call and one of our friendly stuff will help you create a listing!

(Q) If I want to keep my listing private, can I hide my personal details such as address and phone number?

(A) Yes you can. When you entering your property address you will be given an option to either advertise your full address or just suburb. If you select to advertise only suburb, your full address will not be advertised. As for your phone number, you also get an option to either keep it private or make it public. Please note that your phone number can only be displayed on No Agent Property website and not 3rd party portals (see related FAQs)

(Q) How do I upload photos?

(A) When listing your property, you will be presented with a special screen which will ask you to select photos from your computer that you want to upload to our website. The process is very simple. You select the photos and just click on the "Add" button. Simple as that!

(Q) Can I advertise my contact details in my listing?

(A) You can advertise your contact details on No Agent Property portal, however, third party portals such as Realestate.com.au and Domain.com.au do not allow vendor contact details to be displayed in the advertisements. 

Following details cannot be placed in the heading or description of the advertisement:

   * Name

   * Telephone numbers

   * Email addresses

   * Links to other websites

(Q) When I make changes to my listing, how long does it take for changes to appear on 3rd party portals?

(A) We ask to allow at least 3 hours for changes to appear on 3rd party portals. This is during our 9am - 7pm AEST/AEDT 7d business hours because our staff must review changes first.

(Q) Can I put my listing on hold?

(A) Yes you can. However, this is the same as withdrawing and relisting the property. Withdrawal is free, but relisting will incur a fee of $99. Just send us an email to support@noagentproperty.com.au with your property ID  and the reason for the withdrawal or give us a call on 1300 850 855, and we'll do the rest.

(Q) How do I make changes to my listing?

(A) To make changes to your listing is easy! As part of your subscription we provide you with access to our member area, where you can login any time 24/7 and amend your listing. Make sure you click "Enter Changes" where applicable before navigating away from the page. Then, once you finish editing your listing, just press "Submit" button and you are done!

(Q) When I modify my listing, do I need to notify anyone?

(A) No, once you submit your changes, your listing will be updated automatically.

(Q) Can I hide my property address from being advertised?

(A) Yes you can. When you entering your property address you will be given an option to either advertise your full address or just suburb. If you select to advertise only suburb, your full address will not be advertised.

(Q) How many images can I upload with my listing?

(A) You can upload up to 20 photos with your listing. In most cases 12 to 15 photos is sufficient to present a property. When taking pictures, it is important to have them in landscape mode, not portrait.

(Q) Can I temporarily withdraw my property from the market?

(A) Yes you can. This is the same process as putting the listing on hold and will incur the $99 fee when you choose to re-activate the advertising. Just send us an email to support@noagentproperty.com.au with your property ID  and the reason for the withdrawal or give us a call on 1300 850 855, and we'll do the rest. 

(Q) Do you provide tools to create a listing or should I email you all the details?

(A) We provide you with all the tools required to quickly and easily create your own listing and to edit it at any time. No Agent Property has been in operation since 1999 and in that time we have developed our own management area. We call it "My Place".
