PRIMARY BUSINESS – ESTABLISHED IT STORE (SINCE 2007)

Where the heart and soul of every business need our service, We are the sole computer store in town and specialise in Apple and PC platforms, IT solutions, service and sales along with consumables for many businesses and individuals in the local and wider community of the Byron region.  In addition to IT service and sales, we provide printing, scanning and internet services, which bring many tourists to the shop.  We also offer telecom signups and support, for many medium sized businesses.

We have in-house MAC & PC technicians, mobile services and do call-outs and remoite support sessions.

Our clients range from anyone with a computer, be it MAC or a PC, small business owners, home office clients, or even fellow technicians needing more equipment or advice.  Our services also extend to those with very little computer skills providing them guidance and support.  We have an extensive customer base of some 8,000 members but there is still a HUGE opportunity to expand.

The premises are located in the heart of Byron Bay and are surrounded by other good businesses.  It offers plenty of exposure and accessibility. our premises are approximately 200m2 including the balcony and have a very long lease of 4+4+4 in place (only 2 years into the contract).  Rent and outgoings are close to $900 pw which is very reasonable, considering the location.

We have a website in place (which could use a little enhancement), just click on link below to see.   A car is also included which is a Peugeot 206 2002 with 100k.   The turnover averages around $60k per month ($720k p.a.) and it is a profitable going concern.

SECOND BUSINESS – ONLINE INK AND TONER WHOLSALER

Inkarnation is an ink and toner wholesaler, operating online (click on link below to see website).  We have about 10-15 active resellers, mostly on the gold coast and Brisbane, and quite a few retail clients who come to the shop and purchase directly for favourable prices.   the site can definitely be enhanced, again offering the new owner great potential to expand.   Inkarnation is also a profitable business with potential to increase.

SUMMARY

Both businesses are successfully run from the same premises without difficulty. We have a telephone exchange system which redirects customers’ calls to the right department through VOIP, so calls can be routed to mobiles, external offices or directors' homes.

The business/s will suit an owner operator with IT skills.  It also has the potential to make it profitable enough to allow outsourcing of all staff, with manager in place.  All the hard work has been done by the current owner who is seeking other opportunities (non-related to this).
