Eden is a 90 minute drive from Bermagui. The Port of Eden is in the process of transformation with two major construction projects under way. They are the Eden breakwater Wharf extension project and the Safe Harbour project. Eden is becoming a popular destination with an increasing number of cruise ship stop overs. The Breakwater Wharf extension project will allow cruise ships up to - 325 METRES, to berth at the wharf once completed. Total funding for the project is 44 million. Project completion is scheduled for June 2018.
